Terry Hall

Manor & Wilton is a large ward close to the Town Centre and its residential streets are attractive for Commuters to park. Unless Commuters are restricted from enjoying free parking measures taken to reduce traffic congestion e.g. Park and Ride will be negated.

Terry is committed to ensuring that the Ward's streets are not blighted by being free car parks for Commuters.

The Ward is very attractive to developers wishing to erect large blocks of sheltered flats to accommodate the frail elderly. While the developments are to be welcomed in principle some applications have been made which paid little regard to the impact on existing residents. Terry is intent on ensuring that developments blend in with existing dwellings and do not detract from the quality of life for current residents.

In 2005 he was made a Freeman of the Borough.
