Norman Cavill

Norman, who is married to Tricia has 3 adult children. After college and 5 years in industry he returned to farming.

He has served as a Councillor for Parish and District for 24 years and was Mayor for one of them. He is a member of the Executive of the Council with responsibility for Economic Development and Asset Management and has been involved with Project Taunton.

He supports several charitable and voluntary organisations.

Elaine Waymouth

Elaine was born and educated in Somerset and has long family

connections in Taunton.

She served as a County Councillor from 1997 to 2005 and was the Conservative spokesman on Education and later on Social Services. She was very involved in the Council’s waste disposal

strategy locally and on the National Committee.

Elaine has many years experience as a Parish Councillor and is on a number of local Charity Committees.

Denise Webber

Denise , who has lived in Cheddon Fitzpaine for 5 years at South Lodge.  She has 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grand child.

She is a trustee of the Cheddon Fitzpaine Memorial Hall, member of the Flower Show Committee.  For six years she was a Youth Leader in West Somerset and took the Club’s Under 15 soccer team up to Division 1 of the Taunton & District Sunday League.

She enjoys gardening and is concerned for the environment.

Denise, Norman and Elaine’s objectives are:

· To make sure that Council Tax does not increase above the rate of inflation

· Support affordable housing for young people

· Encourage the collection of refuse in a environmentally friendly way

· Local opinion is consulted before any planning permission is given
